About Bitumen Emulsion
Bitumen emulsion is a liquid form of bitumen where bitumen is in a dispersed phase and water is in a continuous phase. Emulsifiers are added to this combination to prevent the separation of the two liquids. The emulsifying agent added is also responsible for the stability of the emulsion. Setting time of the emulsion is also governed by the grade of emulsion.

Bitumen Emulsion RS-1
Rapid Setting-1 emulsion is water based bitumen emulsion with low viscosity and fast setting time. RS-1 grade bitumen emulsion is designed to react quickly with aggregate and revert from the emulsion state to bitumen. RS-1 grade is mainly used for tack coat application.

Bitumen Emulsion RS-2
Rapid Setting-2 emulsion is water based bitumen emulsion with high viscosity and fast setting time. RS-2 grade bitumen emulsion is designed to react quickly with aggregate and revert from the emulsion state to bitumen. RS-2 grade is mainly used for surface dressing, grouting and best product for spray application.

Bitumen Emulsion MS
Medium-Setting (MS) bitumen emulsion is designed for mixing with coarse aggregates and is ideal in premix. Product is so formulated that is does not break immediately upon contact with aggregates and provides few minute of workable time for fixing aggregates. This type of emulsion is highly recommended for surface dressing work.

Bitumen Emulsion SS-1
Slow-Setting-1 bitumen emulsion is specially designed oil based bitumen emulsion with low viscosity and extended setting time. SS-1 emulsion is mainly used for Prime Coat.

CSS-1(ASTM)
Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (CSS-1) ASTM is specially designed water based Bitumen emulsion with low viscosity and extended setting time that makes it an ideal product for road maintenance applications and prime coating on high porous surfaces. It is chocolate brown in color and is a free flowing liquid at ambient temperature.
